George Washington’s Secret Six: The Spy Rind That Saved The American Revolution

George Washington's Secret Six

I picked this book to read as I have an interest in American History, George Washington and the Revolutionary War. It is the first book by Brian Kilmeade and Don Yaeger that I have read.

I choose this book based on the title and not the primary author. If I had realized that he was a Fox News “personality” I would have passed on it as I do all of Bill O’Reilly’s as the bulk of the writing and research is done by the co-author.

The book itself is okay and the best thing that I can say is that is a fast read. It meanders due to the writing style of the authors and the lack of credible documentation makes it a once over lightly read. The book itself does not provide the evidence that the subtitle claims. I can only hope that a serious author will address this subject in the future in a manner that it deserves.

I recommend this book to anyone who wants a “glossed” over version of the story line.
