This book by Wil S. Hylton is about eleven men who vanished during World War II over the islands of Palau in the Pacific. It is an informative and quick read about the search for these men over the course of 60 plus years.
The book covers the story of the men (The Big Stoop Crew), their final mission, their families and the reason that their disapperance remained a mystery for so long. It takes through the search, the clues that led to finding everyone and the finding of the final two crew members in totally different area from where many believed they would be found.
I recommend this book for anyone who is interested in World War II and for those who enjoy reading a story that brings closure to families in dealing with the deaths of missing loved ones during the war.
